This has always been a mystery.  Census transcription and notes below,

Eva's headstone says she died June 1, 1898, however here she is on the 1900 
census?

1900 Schley County - 
HH 49/50 
Josiah Hill 31yrs old, b. Aug 1868, Md 10 yrs;   
Mollie wife, 30 yrs old, b. Feb 1870 Md 10 yrs, 6 children, 5 living; 
Katie W. Sept 1890, 9 yrs old;   
Mattie 7 yrs old, Sept 1892;   
Robert A. 6 yrs old, June 1893; 
Eva 4 yrs old, Jan 1896;   
George 9/12 yrs old, Oct 1899 

Eva's headstone says she died June 1, 1898, however here she is on the 1900 
census?
