MISS ALLEN BRIDE OF MR. I. C. THOMPSON
Mrs. R.S. Allen of Ellaville announces the marriage of her daughter Lillian 
McClain Allen, of Americus to I.C. Thompson, Jr., of Douglas with the Rev. 
W.E. Scott, officiating.  The bride is a graduate of Oglethorpe High School.  
She is a sister of Mrs. C.C. Hines, Mrs. H.B. Williams, of Americus, Mrs. Dan 
Wells, of Buena Vista, Miss Mozelle Allen, of Atlanta, and Ralph and Ossie 
Allen of Schley county.  Mr. Thompson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. I.C. 
Thompson, of Douglas.  He is a graduate of Douglas High School and attended 
the University of Georgia.  After the ceremony the couple left on a short 
wedding trip and are now residing in Moultrie where Mr. Thompson is doing 
contract work for Martin Theatres.
