C.D. Carter on Thursday night. Miss Bryant was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bryant, who reside near Midway. For the past few months she had been attending school here, boarding at the home of Mrs. E.W. Strange. While she was still quite young, she possessed many personal charms that made her a favorite among a wide circle of friends. (Transcriber's note: She was 19, he was about 23. Correct spelling of the name is HAMBRICK.) Mr. Hambrick is a progressive young farmer, of Macon county.
