PAUL TONDEE MONDAY Widespread interest centers in the marriage of Miss Mavis Cone to Mr. Paul Tondee at the Methodist parsonage Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. Roy J. Bond performed the ceremony in the presence of Mrs. W.T. Tondee and Mrs. Andrew Kimble. The bride, a pretty brunette wore a white dress with brown accessories. Her corsage was of red roses and tube roses. Mrs. Tondee is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Cone of Ashburn, Ga. She was graduated by Ashburn high school and Georgia-Alabama Business college at Macon. She has been employed by the district office of the Farm Security Administration here since last October. Her brother is Lt. Davis Cone, stationed at New London, Conn. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Tondee, of Ellaville. He is a graduate of Ellaville high school, where he was a star member of the basketball team. He is associated with his father in the general merchandise business. His sister is Mrs. Andrew Kimble. The couple took a short wedding trip and for the present are residing at the home of his parents.
