COLON JOHNSON Cordial interest centers in the marriage of Miss Etna Daniel to Sgt. Colon Johnson, which was solemnized at the Ellaville Methodist parsonage Saturday evening at 8:30 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Roy J. Bond in the presence of a few close friends. The bride, an attractive blonde, wore a dusty pink dress with white accessories. Her corsage was of gardenias. Mrs. Johnson is the third daughter of Mrs. Olier Daniel and the late Mr. William Daniel of Schley county. Her sisters are Mrs. Robert Adams, Buena Vista; Mrs. Hugh Dozier, Griffin; Mrs. Buford Kelley, Colquitt. Her brother is William Daniel, Thomaston, Ga. A graduate of Ellaville High School and Georgia Southwestern College, Americus, the bride taught school in Webster county for the past two years. She has a pleasing personality and a winning manner that has endeared her to a wide circle of friends. Sgt Johnson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Colon Johnson of Andrew Chapel community. He was graduated from Americus high school and later attended Americus Business College. He is stationed at Fort Benning where he is assigned to the Finance Department. Immediately after the ceremony the couple left for a short trip.
