DAVIS-ORR
One of the prettiest home weddings that has occurred here in some time was 
that of Miss Martha Davis and Dr. W.L. Orr on Saturday evening last at the 
home of the bride's sister, Mrs. W.E. Drane.  Promptly at 9 o'clock to the 
sweet strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March, played by Miss Margurite Drane, 
the bride and groom marched into the parlor, preceded by Misses Ruth Drane and 
Ada Mott Burt, the dainty little ribbon bearers.

Rev. I.E. McKellar, in a most impressive manner, said the magic words that 
made them man and wife.  After the wedding ceremony a delightful salad course 
was served.  The color scheme of green and white was carried out throughout 
the whole house, the decorations of Southern smilax, palms and ferns, being 
especially pretty.  The bride was becomingly attired in a gown of cream mohair 
and never looked lovelier.
