MISS DILLARD AND MR. DAVIS WED
Of cordial interest to their many friends is the announcement of the marriage 
of Miss Bessie Dillard to Mr. Rudolph Davis.  The ceremony was performed at 
7:30 o'clock Sunday evening, October 15, in the presence of a few close 
friends at the home of W.A. McDonald, justice of the peace.  Mrs. Davis is the 
youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Dillard of Concord community.  She was 
graduated from Ellaville high school in 1937.  Since that time she has been 
connected with the Manhattan Shirt Company.  Mr. Davis is the oldest son of 
Mrs. Artie Davis and the late A.R. Davis of Americus.  He received his 
education there and is connected with an Americus painting company.  Mr. and 
Mrs. Davis have an apartment at 312 College street in Americus.
