Ordinary R.C. Harris read the vows in the presence of several friends of the couple. The bride, an attractive brunette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Munro Ellis, of Ellaville. Her sister is Miss Hazel Ellis. She wore a costume of white, with matching accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of pink roses and lilies-of-the-valley. A graduate of Ellaville high school, in 1937, Mrs. Murphy, who is a talented musician, attended Andrew College at Cuthbert for a year, specializing in music. She also attended Georgia Southwestern college at Americus. Her pleasing personality and friendly manner have endeared her to a wide circle of friends. Mr. Murphy, who was graduated from Ellaville high school in the class with his bride, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Murphy, of Schley county. While in school here, he was an outstanding basketball player. He was graduated from Freeman's Business College at Albany, and now is a traveling representative of the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, with headquarters at Albany.
