Stephens of Putnam, was united in marriage to Miss Alice Fulford, the accomplished daughter of Mr. B.A. Fulford. The ceremony took place at the Rose Hill Methodist church, Pastor E.J. Burch officiating, in the presence of a number of friends and relatives of the young couple. The groom is a rising young merchant of Putnam, and is to be congratulated upon having won such a charming young lady for a bride.-- Columbus Enquirer Sun. Accompanied by the bridal party the happy young couple came down on the 11:30 train Tuesday morning to Putnam where an elegant reception was tendered them by Mr. and Mrs. P.S. Stephens, the groom's parents, at their lovely and hospitable home. Mr. Stephens, though quite a young man, has won an enviable reputation in business and social circles, and has hosts of friends to offer congratulations and best wishes. The young couple will be "at home" to their friends at Putnam until the new year.
