MISS GREENE WEDS MR. JOE MCLENDON
Miss Elma Greene, of Fountainville, Macon county became the bride of Mr. Joe 
McLendon in a quiet ceremony which was simply solemnized Friday evening at 8 
o'clock with Elder H.S. McCorkle reading the vows at his residence.  The bride 
was attractive wearing a taupe wool coat with brown accessories.  She is the 
daughter of Mrs. Leila Greene and the late George Greene of Macon county.  Mr. 
McLendon is the son of Mrs. Mary McLendon and the late Jesse McLendon of 
Schley county.  After a wedding trip to Florida the couple will reside in the 
County Line community, where the groom is a prosperous farmer.
