L.S. BOYETTE Social interest throughout the state centers in the marriage of Miss Nell Harris to Dr. Linton Stout Boyette, which occurred Sunday afternoon, January 5, at 4:30 o'clock at the Baptist pastorium. The Rev Hugh Dozier officiated. The bride wore a becoming dress of soldier blue, trimmed with fox fur, and matching accessories. A pretty brunette, Mrs. Toyette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Harris, of Tifton. Her sister is Miss Lucy Jean Harris, of Tifton, and her brothers are Carl, Dreyfus and Ray Harris, all of Tifton. Graduated from Tifton high school, the bride attended Georgia State College for Women at Milledgeville for two years. She began training as a nurse at the University of Georgia hospital in August and was graduated from the Middle Georgia Hospital in Macon. She became nurse at Boyette's Clinic here in March, 1939. The son of Dr. and Mrs. A.S. Boyette of Buena Vista, Dr. Boyette was graduated from the Buena Vista high school and attended Mercer University at Macon. He was graduated from the University of Georgia School of Medicine at Augusta and served his internship at the General Hospital in Spartanburg, S.C. He is a member of Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity, and Alpha Kappa Kappa medical fraternity. In June 1935, Dr. Boyette established practice as a physician and surgeon in Ellaville and in November, 1937, opened Boyette's Clinic. He has a wide practice and is considered outstanding in his profession. The couple are residing temporarily at the Peacock Hotel.
