Manning here Sunday afternoon. Mr. Manning, who is justice of the pease (peace), officiated. The bride, an attractive brunette, wore a lovely blue wool dress with black accessories. The daughter of Mrs. Mary Wyl Lawhorn of Ellaville, Mrs. Dixon has been bookkeeper for Southern Tire and Supply Company at Waycross for the past six years. Her sisters are Mrs. Frank Ziegler, of Thomasville, and Miss Carolyn Lawhorn of Americus. Hoyt Lawhorn of Waycross is her brother. Mr. Dixon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dixon, Sr., of Blackshear, pioneer residents of that section. He is employed by Burwell Motor Company of Jacksonville. They are residing in that city.
