Nelson, of Oglethorpe, were married last night at 8 o'clock at the Hotel Dinkler. Rev. J.E. Wray, pastor of the Mulberry Street church, officiated. Only the immediate families of the contracting parties had been informed of their intentions when they left their homes yesterday for Macon. The marriage was a quiet affair, a sister of the bride being the only attendant. The bride is a young daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Lightner, of Ideal. Mr. Nelson is a young business man of Oglethorpe, and is a candidate for the legislature. They have left for North Carolina on their bridal tour. Oglethorpe will be their home. The above article appeared in Thursday's Telegraph and will be read with much interest by our many subscribers, as Miss Lightner formerly lived in this county and is a sister of our fellow townsman, Dr. J.S. Lightner. The News joins her many friends here in wishing for the happy couple all that life holds dear.
