MISS JEWELL LIGHTNER WEDS MR. HARVEY GRIFFIN
Coming as a surprise to their many friends was the marriage of Miss Jewell 
Lightner to Mr. Harvey Griffin which took place in Eufala, Ala., Aug. 17.  The 
bride, an attractive brunette, was lovely in a gown of printed blue silk with 
matching accessories.  The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. J.L. Lightner 
and the late Mrs. Annie Wall Lightner.  Mr. Griffin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Julian Griffin of near Americus.  The couple are at home to their friends at 
the home of his parents near Americus.
