H.W. Muse of Perry. The attractive bride wore a spring light weight beige wool dress which featured a tucked bodice, leg o' mutton sleeves and a coat of dark brown wool which had white scalloped lapels. Her accessories were of luggage tan and brown. Mrs. Powell is the daughter of Mrs. J.C. Rainey and the late Dr. John A. Lowry. She is a graduate of Ellaville high school and attended Georgia Southwestern college at Americus. Mr. Powell is the only son of Dr. and Mrs. B.C. Powell of Villa Rica. He is a graduate of Villa Rica high school, Emory Junior college at Oxford and Emory University in Atlanta. He is connected with his father in business as a bookkeeper.
