The ring ceremony was performed by Dr. Louis D. Newton. The attractive bride was attired in navy blue sheer crepe with white hat and accessories. Her corsage was of white roses. Mrs. McDaniel is the elder daughter of Sheriff and Mrs. W.L. Lumpkin, of Schley county. A graduate of Schley county high school, she was popular in school activities and a star member of the girls basketball team. She was graduated from Freeman's Business College, Albany, and has worked there for the past two years. Her brothers are Charles Lumpkin, of Atlanta, and W.L. Lumpkin, Jr., of Ellaville. Martha Virginia Lumpkin of Ellaville is her only sister. Mr. McDaniel is the youngest son of Mr. W.C. McDaniel of Pitts. His brothers are Lewis McDaniel of Pitts and Hack McDaniel. His sisters are Misses Estelle McDaniel of Albany and Emma and George McDaniel of Pitts. The couple took a short trip to north Georgia and are now at home in Albany. Mr. McDaniel is employed in the mechanical department of The Albany Herald.
