Bill was graduated from officer's school at Ft. Benning as a 2nd lieutenant Saturday and granted a two weeks furlough before reporting for duty at a camp in Oregon. He hurried to her home in Cairo and their engagement became a marriage Wednesday at noon. They are on a trip to Florida. MacDonald entered the army last July, after teaching here for several years. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia. The bride, who is a graduate of Georgia State College for Women, Milledgeville, taught here the past two years.
