SCAFUTI The wedding of Miss Lois Wall McCrory of Jeffersonville, and Cpl. Joseph James Scafuti, of Ft. McClellan, Ala., and Pittsburgh, Pa., was solemnized in the Mulberry Street Methodist parlor in Macon, at 9 o'clock Thursday evening. The Rev. I.E. McKellar of Macon and the Rev. B.H. Hampton, of Elizabethton, Tenn., uncles of the bride-elect heard the marriage vows. Mrs.(Miss?) McCrory chose her cousin, Miss Addie Rie McKellar, of Macon, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Hart Whitehurst, Miss Martha Nell McCrory and Miss Katy Whitehurst, all of Jeffersonville. Two young cousins of the bride-to-be, Marianna Mitchell, of Macon, and Mary Adell Hampton, of Elizabethton, Tenn., were junior bridesmaids. Another cousin, Billie Swartz, III, of Roanoke, Va., was ring bearer. Her father, C.C. McCrory, of Jeffersonville, gave his daughter in marriage. Guy Scafuti, of Pittsburg, Pa., was best man for his brother. Ushers and groomsmen included Sgt. George Earl, of Ft. McClellan, Ala., D.G. Mithchell, Jr., and Albert Bentley, of Macon, uncle and cousin of the bride. A program of nuptial music was presented by Mrs. D.G. Mitchell, Jr., and Mrs. E.C. Mauldin, of Ellaville. Following the rehearsal Thursday afternoon, a buffet supper was given at the home of Mrs. I.E. McKellar with Mrs. Mitchell and Miss McKellar as co-hostesses. The guest list included the wedding party and members of the Kirkwood school faculty of Atlanta of which the bride was a member. An informal reception took place immediately after the ceremony in the church parlor.
