R.W. DURHAM, SATURDAY The marriage of Miss Louise McNeal and Dr. Ralph William Durham of Monticello, Georgia, was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. McNeal, August 16 at 4 o'clock. Mrs. Durham selected this date, being the wedding anniversary of her parents. In the presence of the bride's family and a few invited guests, the Rev. Hugh G. Dozier, pastor of the Ellaville Baptist church, performed the ring ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, Mrs. James Hart, pianist, played "Venetian Love Song" and "I Love You Truly". The couple entered the living room unattended to the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding March. "Liebestrum" was softly played during the ceremony. The attractive bride wore a traveling costume of beaver brown. She wore an off- the-face hat of darker brown with shoes and other accessories of brown suede. Her corsage was a single throated Orchid. Immediately after the ceremony, the bride's parents entertained at an informal reception. Ice cream in the shape of a wedding slipper and cake was served. Mrs. Durham received her A.B. degree from Georgia State College for Women. She did post graduate work in library science at the University of North Carolina and for the past three years has been librarian in the Monticello high school. Dr. Durham received his pre-medical training at the University of Florida and obtained his D.D.S. degree from Southern Dental College. He was a member of the Delta Sigma Delta fraternity. After a wedding trip to Miami and other points of interest in Florida, Dr. and Mrs. Durham, will reside at Monticello where she has been located for several years.
