McNeal, and Hamilton Pierce Weston, Jr., of Talbotton was solemnized Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents. A setting of dignity and simplicity was provided throughout the McNeal home by bowls of dahlias, roses and gladioli. The Rev. Hugh Dozier, pastor of Ellaville Baptist church met the couple who entered the living room together, unattended, and performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of the members of the two families. Miss Louise McNeal, sister of the bride, played at the piano, "To a Wild Rose" by McDowell, during the ceremony. She was wearing a two piece aqua crepe dress with a pleated skirt and crocheted bodice. The radiant bride's dress was an original model of white crepe designed by Ellan Kaye. The yoke of the dress was formed of pink and blue smocking. She wore a picture hat of white straw with matching accessories. A shoulder corsage of valley lilies and purple orchids completed her costume. Immediately after the wedding Mr. and Mrs. McNeal entertained at an informal reception. The guests were served ice cream and cake with the bridal color scheme being effectively used. Mrs. McNeal, mother of the bride, wore an old rose crepe dress with white accessories and a corsage of talisman roses and tube roses. Mrs. Weston, mother of the groom, wore a blue crepe dress, white accessories and a shoulder corsage of pink rosebuds. Attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Weston of Talbotton, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Duncan and son, of Fitzgerald, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. McNeal, Charles Richard and Charles McNeal, Jr. The couple left for a wedding trip to points of interest in Florida, after which they will reside in Talbotton where the groom is connected with the Chilean Nitrate Sales Corporation.
