SHERRILL Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Henrietta Morrison of Ellaville and Oglethorpe to Mr. John Carlyn Sherrill, Jr., which was solemnized Sunday January 31, at the Presbyterian church in Americus. Rev. M.P. Cain, pastor, performed the ceremony in the presence of a few close friends. The bride was attractively attired in a model of rose crepe, worn with brown accessories. Her only ornament was a cameo pin, a gift from the bridegroom and she wore an orchid corsage. Mrs. Sherill, is the second daughter of the late E.H. Morrison and the late Mrs. Eunice Dyess Morrison, well known Ellaville citizens. She was graduated from Ellaville high school and the Americus Business College. During the last five years she has resided in Oglethorpe, where she is employed at the AAA office. Mr. Sherrill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Carlyle Sherrill, Sr., of Ulla, N.C. He is a graduate of Ulla high school and North Carolina State College. For several months he has been an instructor at Graham Aviation School. Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill plan to make their home in Oglethorpe.
