A Pleasant Occasion

At the beautiful home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Collins, of 
Murray’s Cross Roads, Schley County, Ga., on Wednesday the 18th inst., occurred 
the happy double marriage of Mr. W.R. DuPriest to Miss Julia Collins and Mr. 
Lester Stewart to Miss Joe Collins.  The attendants were Mr. S. Hill and Miss 
Mattie DuPriest of Schley County; Mr. T.A. Collins, of Ellaville and Miss Julia 
Cameron, of Butler.  Quite a crowd of friends and relatives were present.  Rev. 
W.W. Tidwell, of Ellaville, performed the beautiful and impressive ceremony, 
after which an elegant reception was tendered the happy couples and all present 
which was an occasion enjoyed very much by all.

Mr. DuPriest is a young man of bright intellect and noble accomplishments and 
Mr. Stewart is a son of Elder Bennet Stewart of this county, an intelligent and 
noble young man, and we congratulate them both on having won for their brides 
these beautiful and accomplished young ladies.  We extend to them our earnest 
and best wishes and hope that their lives may be filled with sunshine and that 
they may ever be as happy as now.
