This important event was solemnized at the home of the bride's parents on the morning of the 25th., inst., at eleven o'clock, Rev. R.E. Bailey pronouncing the words that united their future destinies. To the strains of Mendelshon's wedding march played by Mrs. Walter McFarrah, the bride and groom entered the parlor and stood in front of a huge bank of ferns and holly that formed an improvised altar. The entire house was most beautifully decorated, the color motiff of red and green being carried out. The decorations in the dining room were especially pretty. Christmas bells being used profusely, amidst the green holly and wild smilax. The table had for it's centerpiece a mound of fruit, around which were placed candle sticks that held green and red tapers. A tempting salad course was served the bridal party, after which, the the bride and groom left for Atlanta, where they will spend their honey moon. During the coming year they will be at home to their many friends at the home of the groom's parents near Friendship. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.H. Walker and is a young lady possessing all the traits of a fine Christian character. Mr. Dozier is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dozier and is a young man of sterling worth, fully capable of making happy the sweet young lady he has won. May joy, gladness, prosperity and happiness ever be theirs.
