MARRIAGE IN ELLAVILLE
Colonel C.R. McCrory and Miss Susie A. Berry

Ellaville, Ga., March 2--(Special)--This evening at six o'clock, the most 
notable social event of the season transpired in the marriage of Colonel C.R. 
McCrory and Miss Susie A. Berry.  The church was handsomely decorated.  An 
Arch of evergreens and crystal spray encircled the large folding doors and 
beneath this stood the happy couple, thus making the picture perfect.  First 
came the ushers, W.P. Hornady, of Ellaville;  W.C. Wright, of Americus.  The 
attendants were W.E. Strange, of Ellaville, Miss Addie Davis, of Savannah;  
Morgan McMichael and Miss Kate Williams; J.R, Williams and Miss Leila Murphy, 
of Ellaville; J.P. Lumpkin, Buena Vista, and Miss Theo Plase, of Darien; 
Claude Dixon, of Ellavile, and Miss Lizzie Steel, of Macon; A.J. Cleghorn, of 
Macon, and Miss Addie Smith, of Ellaville.

Rev. C.D. Adams pronounced the mystic words that made them husband and wife.  
At 8 o'clock, the guests were invited to the dining room, where one of the 
most elegant collations ever spread in Ellaville awaited.  The presents were 
handsome and numerous.  The bride is a beautiful and accomplished young lady, 
a graduate of Weslayan and is one of our sweetest girls.  She is the daughter 
of Mrs. Dr. C.P. Smith and sister of Mrs. Anna Edwards, of Louisville, Ky.  
The groom is one of our most prosperous attorneys, who by integrity and 
talent, has won the respect and confidence of the business world around him.
