The Schley County News Thursday, October 20, 1904
PAYNE--BRIDGES At the home of the brides's father, Mr.
E.H. Payne, on Wednesday morning the 12th., inst., were
united in marriage Mr. John Bridges of Schley county to
Miss Sophie Payne, of this county;  Rev. J.S. Lewis
officiating.  The bride is a very intelligent and
accomplished young lady.  Mr. Bridges is a prosperous
young farmer and numbers his friends by his
acquaintances.  We extend to them our best wishes.
