The Schley County News  Thursday, October 28, 1897
The marriage of Mr. Thomas Tooke and Miss Alba Perry will occur at Andrew 
chapel church on Nov. 4.  Mr. Tooke is a prominent young planter of this 
county and Miss Perry is the pretty and accomplished daughter of Mrs. Nancy 
Perry of LaCrosse.  Both parties have many friends who wish them all 
happiness.—Americus Herald.
