PILCHER-PARK
A quiet wedding of much interest to our people was the marriage of Miss Zenia 
Pilcher and Mr. Ross Park on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of 
the bride's parents, four miles from here.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. 
R.E. Bailey, in a most impressive manner.  The parlor was daintily decorated 
with evergreens and flowers, and it was beneath an arch of evergreens that the 
happy couple joined hands to fight life's battle together.  The bride is the 
only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Pilcher and her lovely disposition endears 
her to all our people.  She wore a beautiful white satin dress, and white 
gloves, and a large white picture hat.  The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Farmer Park.  He is a prosperous young farmer of Macon county and is highly 
esteemed in our community.  May the sunshine of God's eternal love evr drive 
gloom from their pathway and may their life together be one continued song of 
praise to the giver of every good and perfect gift.
