MISS ELMA REID WEDS JIMMY ROSS
Cordial interest centers in the announcement made by Mrs. Tom Reid of near 
Americus, of the marriage of her daughter, Elma to Jimmy Ross of Americus.  
The ceremony was performed Saturday afternoon, May 7, at the home of Rev. John 
B. Joyner of Americus in the presence of a few friends and relatives.  The 
petite bride was attired in a navy blue sheer crepe dress with navy 
accessories.  She wore a corsage of sweet peas.  Mrs. Ross is a graduate of 
the Ellaville high school, finishing in 1935.  Mr. Ross, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. J.M. Ross, is a graduate of Lanier high school of Macon.  After a short 
wedding trip the couple will make their home in Americus where Mr. Ross holds 
a position with the Americus Construction Company.
