Royal. As Miss Alma Royal played Lohengrin's wedding march, the bride and groom entered the parlor and as they stood 'neath an arch of white Oleanders and green ferns, Rev. I.E. McKellar performed the magic words that made them man and wife. During the ceremony Miss Royal played softly, "Moonlight on the Hudson." After congratulations, the wedding party went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Rainey where a delightful supper was served them. The many handsome and beautiful presents received, attested the popularity of this young couple who start life under such auspicious circumstances. Among the presents, was a handsome rocker from the officers and teachers of the M.E. Sunday school of which Miss Royal had for sometime been pianist. The bride is one of our most talented young ladies and by her charming personality has won many true friends. Mr. Rainey is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Rainey and is one of our most popular young men. Truly, marriage is a God ordained institution, and on this union, we pray Heaven's richest blessings may fall.
