Tondee announce the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth, to Mr. James M. Colvin, of Hoboken and Camp Stewart. The ceremony took place September 11 in Brunswick at the home of Rev. Charles Moss and was attended by several close friends of the couple. The bride, a lovely blonde, chose for her wedding costume a beige dress, with white and green trimmings, and matching accessories. Her corsage was of white rosebuds. Mrs. Colvin is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tondee, prominent citizens of Schley county. She was graduated from Ellaville high school and Georgia State College for women, Milledgeville, with an A.B. degree in social science, in 1939. She has been a member of the Hoboken school faculty since her graduation and will continue to teach there. Mr. Colvin is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Colvin, of Hoboken. He was graduated from Brantley county high school at Nahunta and later attended Middle Georgia College in Cochran, completing his work in 1937. He also attended Georgia State Teacher's College at Statesboro and Perry Business School at Brunswick. He taught school in Brantley county before beginning army service in May, 1941. He is assigned to the quartermaster's detachment at Camp Stewart.
