Courthouse Written: March 3, 1867 STATE OF GEORGIA COUNTY OF MUNRO I, Archibald Davis being of sound mind and memory make and deliver the following to be my last will & testament. Item 1st--I desire a decent Christian burial for my body. Item 2nd--Having made large advancements to my late son-in-law, L.B. Alexander, over and above any made to my other son-in-law now in consideration and to some extent to remedy the same I give my daughter Martha Davis my family carriage(?) subject to the vises (?) and ??urts hereafter declared. Item 3rd--I give to my daughter Elizabeth R. Alexander and Martha T. Davis all my property both real and personally except said carriage to be equally divided between them share and share alike in such manner as they may agree neverless to be for their seprate use & ?????? free from the debts of their former present or future husbands and at their death to be equally divided between their children or heirs at law. The share of my daughter Martha T. Davis to be paid over to her husband William B. Davis to be managed for their mutual benefit. Item 4th--I nominate & appoint my daughter Elizabeth R. Alexander & William B. Davis Executors of this my last will and testament to which I have herewith set my hand & affixed my seal this 3rd day Mar(?) 1867. There is reason to believe it was presented as evidence in a Superior court case in 1888.
