MOTT, Jr, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other heretofore made by me. ITEM 1. I desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner the cost of same to be in accord with my means at the time of my death. ITEM 2. It is my will and desire that all of my just debts be paid by my executrix, hereinafter named, so soon after my death as may be practical. ITEM 3. To my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, and two children, Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, I give and bequeath all of my personal property that I may be seized and possessed of at the time of my death, without any conditions whatever, they to share equal in same, share and share alike. ITEM 4. To my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, and two children, Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, I give and bequeath the whole proceeds of a certain life insurance policy, for the face value of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) which I hold, made payable to my estate, and being with The Southern State Life Insurance Company, that to share equal in same, share and share alike. ITEM 5. To my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, I give and bequeath my house and lot in which I now live, situated in the city of Ellaville, Schley County, Georgia, she to have and to hold only a life estate in the property, and after her death, it is my further will and desire, and I hereby will and bequeath the same to go to my two children, namely Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT. Provided that either Myrtle MOTT or Carl MOTT be not in life at the time of the death of my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, then it is my will and desire that the above described house and lot shall go to the surviving one whether it be Myrtle MOTT or Carl MOTT. Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT to share equal in the above described property, share and share alike should they both be in life at the time of the death of my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, as aforesaid. ITEM 6. I give, will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mollie G. MOTT, and my two children, Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, the following described lands situated in the 29th land district of Schley County, Georgia: Fifty (50) acres of land in the south west corner of lot of land no. 105; also the west half of lot of land no. 106 containing 101-1/4 acres, more or less; also the north half of lot of land no. 81, containing 101-1/4 acres more or less; also one hundred forty acres of land being all of lot of land no. 70 except sixty acres, more or less, off of said lot no. 70, hereinafter to be bequeathed to my daughter, Delia MOTT, by separate Item of this will. It is my further will and desire, in connection with the above property, that my wife Mollie G. MOTT, only have a life estate in the same and that all of the above described lands be kept together so long as she lives, and that she, Mollie MOTT, Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT share equal in the rents, proceeds or profits from the same, so long as my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, may live, share and share alike. But after the death of my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, it is my will and desire and I do hereby will and bequeath that all of the above described lands in this Item shall go to Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, if both of them should at that time be in life they to share equal, share and share alike, but should either of them not be in life, then in that event said above described lands shall go to the surviving one, whether it be Myrtle MOTT or Carl MOTT, they or either of them, as the case may be, to have and to hold said land in fee simple. ITEM 7. To my daughter, Delia MOTT, I will and bequeath a life estate in sixty acres of land, more or less, the same being off of the North West corner of lot of land no. 70, in the 29th District of Schley County, Georgia, and more fully described as being that portion of said lot no. 70 lying north of the public road leading from Ellaville to Oglethorpe, commencing at land of J.T. Stewart north of said road and running east along said road to a point a short distance below the dwelling house of the testator, where a farm road intersects with the said public road and runs north to a tenant house which is located some two hundred yards from said public road; thence from the tenant house on across said lands to lands of Will Robinson. This line to run North and South across said lands so as to leave the tenant house above mentioned, twenty feet east of said line. It is my further will and desire, in connection with the disposition of the property described in this Item, that my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, my two children, Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, shall pay all taxes on the same as long as the life estate remains in my daughter, Delia MOTT, but after the death of Delia MOTT, it is my will and desire, and do hereby will and bequeath that the said above described lands in this Item, shall go to Myrtle MOTT and Carl MOTT, my two children, they to share equal, share and share alike, and in the event either Myrtle or Carl MOTT should die then the survivor is to have all of said described lands in this Item, subject to the life estate interest of Delia MOTT, as aforesaid. ITEM 8. I hereby nominate, name, constitute and appoint my wife, Mollie G. MOTT, sole executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby relieving and excusing her from giving bond or making any returns to the Ordinary of the County of any of her acts or doings in connection with her administration of my estate; also excuses her from having an inventory made of my property, or filing same with the Ordinary of the County. Giving her full and complete power to act in carrying out the full terms of this my last will and testament. Witness my hand and signature this the 22nd day of December 1915. (signed) T.J.
