Know all men by these that I, Incel SPENCE of the State and County aforesaid in 
my right mind do for the good will and affection I have for my grandson William 
D'VAUGHN   gave unto him all that tract or parcel of land containing one 
thousand acres it being part of a two thousand acre tract lying & being in the 
county aforsaid, the said thousand acres lying joining lands of Robert WILLIAMS 
on the lower side of said two thousand acres tract beginning at the River and 
running a straight line thence to the back line, together with all and singular 
the rights, members, appurtenances thereunto belonging to the said William 
D'VAUGHN his heirs & assigns against myself my heirs executors administrators & 
assigns forever & against all other persons claiming said lands.
Signed, sealed & delivered in the presence of us, this eighteenth day of 
February one thousand eight hundred & thirty four.
