Lovett Miss Mary V. Lovett, the subject of this obituary notice, was born Jan. 29th 1837, in Scriven county, Ga. Her mother, Mrs. Mary A. Lovett, having been bereaved of her husband, removed a short time since to the town of Springfield, Effingham County, where her children could enjoy the benefits of a fine school. Melancholy as the fact is, this young lady was attacked while at school, with a violent disease, which baffled all medical skill, and consequently left the world of flesh and blood, on Nov. 30th, 1852. To appreciate Miss Lovett was to know her, kind, affectionate, and harmless in disposition, giving willfull offence to no one ? adorning her walk in life. With those virtues peculiar to one who was just budding to womanhood, truly her loss is felt by all, but most of all, by her bereaved and devoted mother. May the young, whose eyes chance to fall upon this obituary, be admonished to remember their Creator in the days of their youth. ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
