MISS SARAH POWELL WEDS MR. FRED O'NEILL SUNDAY
Miss Sara Powell of Ellaville became the bride of Mr. Fred O'Neill of Americus 
Sunday, October 6, at a ceremony performed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William 
Cook in Oglethorpe.  Rev. Mr. Pharr officiated.  The attractive bride was 
dressed in a costume of wine crepe, worn with matching accessories.  The 
daughter of Mr. E.E. Powell of Macon, she had been making her home with her 
uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. C.V. Powell of Ellaville.  Mrs. J.B. Benton, of 
Macon, is her sister and Eugene and Arthur Powell, also of Macon, are her 
brothers.  She has been a student at Schley county high school.  Mr. O'Neill 
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Hatcher.
