Ala., a retired dentist, died Monday in Montgomery. Dr. Chason lived in Donalsonville before moving to Montgomery several years ago. Funeral services were held in Montgomery Wednesday morning and the body was moved to Donalsonville where grave side services were held at Friendship Cemetery Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Reverend Roy Lewis and Reverend Clarence Knight. Surviving are his widow, of Montgomery; a son, Harold Chason of Evanston, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Shingler, Donalsonville, Mrs. Vivian Grow and Mrs. H. L. Harrell, Colquitt, Dr. J. D. Chason, Miami, Alvin L. Chason, Atlanta, one grandchild and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Brunson, Harry O'Neal, Sid Shingler, Merrian Minter, Paul Shingler and J. B. Clark.
