Mrs. Faircloth was a native of Seminole County, the daughter of Joseph R. and Lula Alday Odom, and a member of Donalsonville Church of Christ. Mrs. Faircloth, a housewife and writter of an article for the Donalsonville News, had lived here all her life. Funeral services for Mrs. Faircloth were held Saturday afternoon, March 15 from the Salem-Seminole Baptist Church at 3:00 P. M. with Mr. Tim Bullington, Dr. Fred Winslett and Dr. J. P. Waddell officiating. Burial followed in the Salem-Seminole Cemetery with Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Faircloth is survived by three sons, Franklin Bartow Faircloth, Jr. of Brinson, Hayden Faircloth of Milton, Fla. and Joseph Marshall Faircloth of Lloyd, Fla., eight daughters, Mrs. Gwen Heller and Mrs. Sue Preston, both of Milton, Fla., Mrs. Monica Smith and Mrs. Sabra Childress, both of Donalsonville, Mrs. Etta Tucker of Pensacola, Fla., Mrs. Kathryn Smith of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Judy Wood of Brinson and Mrs. Charlotte Phillips of Blakely. She has two brothers, Joseph Odom of East Point, Fla., and Mr. Jan Odom of Humble, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Smith of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Elaine Barnes of Marble Falls, Texas. Thirty grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers were Bo McLeod, Larry Hartzog, Don Swanner, Bobby Nichols, "Bo" Earnest, Dr. J. H. Holley, Donald Odom, Coleman Russell, Quintor Webb, Jim Odom, Jr., Curtis Whitaker, Lamar Alday, Robert Young, Jr., Grady McDonald, Gene Regar, Judge Julian Webb, Lonnie Jernigan, Lewis Carter, Sr., Dan White, William Waddell and Paul Mosley.
