Loyless, age 71, of Donalsonville, died suddenly Friday night in a local hospital. He was the son of the late John Chesterfield Loyless and Bina Singletary Loyless. He was a native of Early County, but he made his home in Seminole County for the past 34 years. He was employed by the City Motor Company as a salesman, and formerly operated a grocery store. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Dixon and reverend Delos Sharpton officiating. Interment was in Friendship Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inez Williams Loyless, Donalsonville; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Jean Avinger, Forrest Park, Georgia, and Mrs. Johnny Hill, Donalsonville; three brothers, Bill Loyless, Albany and Curtis Loyless and J. C. Loyless, both of Blakely; three sisters, Miss Bessie Loyless, Blakely, Mrs. Emmie Julian, Albany, and Mrs. Ruby Jarrett, Andersonville, Georgia; 5 grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were Tom Faircloth, Eugene Hornsby, Veachel Williams, Marty Shingler, Manious Whittaker and Johnny Robinson. Source: Donalsonville, Georgia News Thursday, August 25, 1977.
