R. Clayton whose death occurred at the Mosely Hospital on November 4th at nine a. m. from the cause of a stroke. Mrs. Clayton was born on the 29th of September 1892 in Seminole County. Before her marriage, she was Angie Line Trawick, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Beuford Trawick. She had resided in this county for 52 years and has been married to G. R. Clayton for 36 years. She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God. Funeral services were held November 5th at 3 o'clock in the Spring Creek Cemetery with Rev. G. C. Courtney officiating. Pallbearers were C. W. Whittaker, L. A. Rutland, J. C. Johnson, T. H. Faircloth, O. L. Perry and Albert Stephens. Surviving are her husband, G. R. Clayton, one daughter, Mrs. O. L. Perry of Panama City, Fla.; Obie Alva and J. T. Clayton of Jacksonville, Fla. Many out of town relatives attended the funeral from Ga., Fla., and Alabama.
