She was born on August 26, 1906, in Decatur County and was the daughter of the late Gus Ivey and late Willie Cloud. She was a homemaker and member of Morningside Baptist. Funeral services for Mrs. Ward were held Monday, November 18, at 2 P. M. at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with the Rev. Luther Hastey and the Rev. Bob Knight officiating. Interment was in Salem-Seminole Cemetery. Pallbearers were Parker Rushnell, Devon Rushnell, Bill Knight, Jr., Steve Gardin, Wayne Miller and Ivey Minighini. Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Webb, Donalsonville, Patricia Knight, Bainbridge, Eleanor Armstrong, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Delta Rushnell, Bradenton, Fla., two sons, Sammy Parker, Port St. Joe, Fla., and Tommy Ward, Bainbridge; one brother, W. C. Ivey, Wabaska, Ark.; five sisters, Christine Cowart, Pelham, Mabelle Corriniti, St. Louise, Mo., Gladys Antonio, Ocala, Fla., Sally Maresh, Ocala, Fla., and Kathleen Johnson, Tallahassee, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. They are both buried at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery, Seminole Co., GA. She married 2nd James Blackmon Ward born 12 December 1906 and died 1973, buried in Jakin, Early Co., GA.
