Mrs. Dezzie Bolton Funeral services for Mrs. Dezzie Bolton, 72, of Donalsonville were held Monday afternoon at 4:00 p. m. at Friendship Methodist Church, with Rev. Henry Erwin, Rev. L. E. Pierce and Rev. C. B. Ware officiating. Interment was in Friendship Cemetery, with Evans Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Eager H. Howard, Oscar "Kiss" Roberts, Rudolph Spooner, Tom Trawick, J. B. Clarke, and Watson Lee. Mrs. Bolton died Sunday afternoon in her home, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Bolton was a life long resident of Seminole County. She was the daughter of the late Nick R. Barber and Frances Johnson and the widow of the late Richard "Dick" T. Bolton. Surviving are a son, Cecil Bolton; a brother, William Berry Barber; both of Donalsonville, and a sister, Mrs. Ollie Elliot, Tampa, Fla. Source: Donalsonville News Thursday, February 22, 1962.
