Ellis who on oath says that he resides in said county and was a soldier in the Confederate Army, a private in Company E 2nd Ga. Cavalry, that he is over fifty years old and has resided in Georgia for more than ten years Next proceeding this date That he proposes to carry on the business of peddling on meat and country produce and other merchandise of such kinds as are not prohibited by law, that the said business is his own and that he will not directly or indirectly sell or offer for sale any article for another.
