Spalding County

This Indenture made this 26th day of February 1857 between John Burgamy & Isaac 
Kendal both of the State & County aforesaid.  Witnesseth that the said John 
Burgamy for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars to him in 
paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and 
doth by these presents grant bargain sell & convey unto the said Isaac Kendal 
his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in 
the fourth district of original Henry now Spalding County known and 
distinguished in the plan of said district by number forty nine it being the 
West half of said lot containing one hundred one and a fourth acres more or 
less  to have & to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said 
Isaac Kendal his heirs & assigns together with all and singular the rights 
members & appurtenances thereunto belonging to his and their own proper use 
benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said John Burgamy for himself 
his heirs executors & administrators the said bargained tract or parcel of land 
unto the said Isaac Kendal his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever 
defend the right and title thereof against themselves & against the claim of 
all other persons whatsoever.  In witness whereof the said John Burgamy hath 
hereunto set his hand & affixed his seal the day and year above written.
