Five persons were arrested for alleged complicity in the crime, an done of these was Mr. Will NUNNALLY, the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. BARRETT. The other four are Negroes. Naturally, therefore, the greatest interest centered in the arrest of NUNNALLY, it was in fact the great sensation in the case. Mr. NUNNALLY was carried to Atlanta, and is now in Fulton County jail. He strongly protests his innocence of any connection with the horrible crime. TWO RELEASED A dispatch of Saturday states that CURRAN BARRETT and FELIX WATSON after a preliminary hearing before WALTER C. BEEKS, judge of the county court at Griffin, were released, as no evidence was produced to warrant their detention. There are yet three prisoners in custody and the officers declare that at least two or three are guilty of the commission of and complicity in the crime.
