ALABAMA News

W.A. Ford, charged with the seduction of his wife's niece Miss Atkinson of 
Spalding county, Ga., has been arrested at Knoxville. He is now in jail. 
Ford married near Orchard Hill [Spalding Co., Ga.], and afterwards ran off with 
the young lady and soon deserted her and went to Calhoun county, Ala., and 
married again.

His wife's father living over there has been wanting him back to care for 
his wife and child. One of his wives lives in Spalding county. He will be 
carried to Spalding county soon to answer charges. The Chattanooga Times
