Sauley, Aged 86 Years, and W.L. Crawley, Aged 75 Years, Cause General Sorrow. W.T. Sauley passed away at his home here last Wednesday night after a long illness. The deceased, who was sons and three daughters and many 86 years of age, leaves a widow, two friends to mourn his demise. He was the oldest member of the Christian church here and was interested in the activity of the church until the last. The funeral and interment were held at Nazareth Church Thursday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. D.A. Brindle of Griffin. W.L. Crawley Dead. W.L. Crawley’s death occurred at his home here Monday night after a few days’ illness with pneumonia. He was 75 years old at the time of his passing. He leaves a widow by a recent marriage. By a former marriage to Miss Julia Green, daughter of the late Dr. Green, of Zebulon, four sons and two daughters survive him. He was a good citizen and neighbor, having lived here practically all his life. The interment took place at the Crawley cemetery Tuesday afternoon and was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Trammel of the Methodist church. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Smith, of Griffin and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Crawley, of Thomaston and Mr. and Mrs. Smarr and family of Forsyth, attended the funeral of W.L.
