sent them by people 'back home'.  She was from Calhoun (Gordon Co.) and he 
from Sunnyside. The name of the newspaper, and alas date of obit / marriage 
announcement is not given in most cases.**

Mrs. Ogden Brown, New York, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. George Byers, New York, N. 
Y.; Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Austin, College Park, Ga.; Miss Mildred Elder, 
Griffin, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. St. Clair Woolsey, Atlanta, are invited to 
attend the funeral of Mr. Thomas Ed Elder this (Thursday) afternoon at 3 
o'clock from County Line Methodist Church at Birdie. Rev. W. W. Byington 
and Rev. Hugh Holland will officiate. Interment churchyard. Haisten Bros, 
funeral directors, Griffin, Ga.
