They probably subscribed to a GA newspaper(s), but these may just be articles sent them by people 'back home'. She was from Calhoun (Gordon Co.) and he from Sunnyside. The name of the newspaper, and alas date of obit / marriage announcement is not given in most cases.** FUNERAL TODAY FOR MR. WILL C. ELDER Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mr. William Childers Elder, 72, who died Saturday night at his home at Birdie following a long illness. Final rites were conducted from the County Line Methodist Church at Birdie with Dr. J. E. Sammons, of Macon, officiating. Interment followed in the churchyard. Haisten Brothers funeral directors were in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were Curtis Ward, Grady Denham, William Wesley, Arch Steele, Leroy Steele, and Chabe Elder.
