                           Mrs. Lora Howell

 Mrs. Lora Alice Howell, 85 of 1120 Spring Creek Circle, died Thursday, July 
10, 1997, at Spalding Regional Hospital.

 Mrs. Howell was born in Bleckley County, Ga., daughter of the late Jesse 
Fowler and the late Lula Dye Fowler. She and Mr. Howell had been married for 65 
years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Church of God.

 Survivors include her husband, Lonnie J. Howell; and daughters, Estoria Cole 
of Griffin, Mae Guess of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mary Hartman of Chattanooga, 
Tenn., and Nell Dunn of Oxford; seven grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren; and brother, Zelna Fowler of Meansville.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Lora Howell will be Saturday at 4pm in the chapel of 
McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westwood Mausoleum.

 Friends may visit the family from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home.

 In lieu of flowers, those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the 
American Heart Association.

 McCullough Funeral Home of Griffin is in charge of arrangements.
