Griffin, May 20...At 1 o'clock Mrs. Tabitha Nunnally breathed her last. She was 
eighty-five years of age, and had been suffering a long time with cancer. Last 
night Miss Tabitha Cunningham passed away. The funeral of Mrs. Nunnally took 
place yesterday evening, and that of Miss Cunningham this afternoon. 

Additional Comments:
Tabitha Maddox Weems Nunnally was married first to John S. Weems on 1 Oct 1818 
in Putnam County, GA. He died abt. 1827. Tabitha Maddox Weems then married Dr. 
Josiah Elam Nunnally on 29 Apr 1828 in Pike County, Georgia.
Tabith Maddox Weems Nunnally and Dr. Josiah Elam Nunnally (b. 1796 Virginia)
were the parents of: 
Martha C. Nunnally Cunningham, b. 03 Aug 1829, d. 24 Jan 1855 Enterprise, Fla.
William H. Nunnally, b. 1831, d. bef. 03 Aug 1856. 
Aaron D. Nunnally, b. 1833, d. 23 Nov 1874.Former Mayor of Griffin. 
James A. Nunnally b. 23 Sep 1837, d.14 May 1896 Griffin GA.
Cicero A. Nunnally, b. 24 May 1842 d. 18 Sep 1862. CSA hospital Richmond VA. 
NOTE: I am not sure which Cunningham family Tabitha Cunningham is related to.
